Description:
Ascending branches forming slender high-crowned tree. Smallish lobed leaves. Good Autumn colours. Orange-brown old  bark peeling to reveal cinnamon coloured new bark. Yellow flowers in May and relatively large, winged seeds in autumn.

Cultivation:
Tolerant of chalk soils, but gives best autumn colour on neutral to acid soil. Prune if required, by removing dead or unwanted branches in late autumn to midwinter.

Propagation:
From seed.
