Description:
Fast
growing evergreen, with feathery blue-green leaves and plumes of bright yellow
flower heads from late winter into spring.
Cultivation:
Best
in mild climate areas. Well drained soil in sun, drought tolerant once
established. Can be slow to flower and may be cut back to ground in hard
winters, but will usually re-grow quickly.
If
required, prune after flowering. Can be pruned to make more tree-like or open.
Alternatively the leader can be pruned out to create a more bushy habit. Remove
any dead branches, which can be caused by excessive shade.
